She was then selected to sing in the 2023 SWR Junge Opernstars Concerts with the Deutsche Radio Philharmonie. She was named the Liederkranz Foundation Prize winner in the 2021 Gerda Lissner Lieder/Song Competition and was a finalist in the 2022 Neue Stimmen Competition in Gütersloh, Germany. Other engagements include New York performances with Les Arts Florissants as Filide in Handel’s Aminta e Filide under the direction of William Christie. She made her role debut as Arcane in Handel’s Teseo with Juilliard Opera and performed with Lincoln Center Restart Stages, including concerts at Alice Tully Hall and Damrosch Park. She served as a Vocal Fellow for the Music Academy of the West in 2020 and 2021, performing as Sandman in the video production of Hänsel und Gretel, in the film Mirrorflores: Cinematic Opera, and in concerts at the Lobero Theater and Granada Theater. In her home state, Alma joined the Bach Roots Festival in the Twin Cities in 2021, performing as an Alto Soloist in JS Bach’s BWV 97: In allen meinen Taten, BWV 243: Magnificat in D, and Kuhnau’s Magnificat in C. She was also a featured soloist with The Singers - Minnesota Choral Artists in John Corigliano’s Fern Hill on the 2021 album Come to the Woods.
